    On June 22, 2021, I purchased and Scott Lee Heating Company installed two new furnace and air conditioning units. The installed price was $17,611. The main floor unit evaporator coils froze from the furnace all the way long the refrigerant lines to the outside air conditioner condenser/compressor on four separate occasions - July 5th, July 8th, July 12th and July 14th. Each time, I had to turn off the unit and wait for a Company technician. The Company technicians did not find any mechanical issues, but did try replacing the some parts to no avail. On July 14th, the Company technician, after conversing with the Lennox Representative, diagnosed the freezing problem as being caused by an incorrect thermostat setting that was not set correctly upon installation. All the company is offering is a 10 year labor warranty on the unit in additional to the standard manufacturers warranty I would like fair consideration and replacement units from the Company.

    I had my home built by ******* in 2017 and Scott *** installed the hvac system. I had my unit cleaned last week and during pre inspection the cleaners noticed an elbow of the unit that was never attached properly. No screws or anything. I called and tried to have them come out and fix what was never properly done in the first place and they have refused. Hard to trust a business that doesnt stand behind their work good or bad. Will never use them for anything again. Imagining how much money theyve cost me in heating a cooling with a vent that was never even in tact all these years.

    From the pictures that were posted to the ****** review for this same complaint, it appears that the top take-off has been pulled out of the main trunk line. The top take-off has tabs that hold this fitting into place on the top of the trunk line. This is generally caused by something or someone pulling on the supply air duct causing it to become loosened. You mentioned on the phone that this was an elbow that was not secured properly. This is not an elbow and the means to fasten it to the duct system are different. As you also told us on the phone, you had your basement finished after the ductwork was installed and could have been damaged in the process of building out your lower level. We would be happy to send a technician by to make the necessary repairs, however this is not a warranty item.
